The most common choice for Texas buyers — adds a WDI / Termite report to the Base Inspection, in one visit.
Recommended for homes built in 1986 or earlier — adds sewer scope to the Texas Buyer Bundle for a complete picture before closing.
These can be added to any buyer bundle. If an item is already included in your chosen bundle, you do not need to add it separately.
Camera inspection of the lateral drain line — the only way to see cast iron deterioration, root intrusion, and under-slab conditions before closing. Highly recommended on homes built in 1986 or earlier. Learn more →
Already included: Older Home / Foundation Bundle
Identifies visible evidence of termites and wood-destroying insects. Frequently required by lenders in Texas real estate transactions.
Already included: Texas Buyer Bundle & Older Home / Foundation Bundle
For homes with a pool or spa. Covers visible condition of the pool or spa structure, equipment — pump, filter, heater, and associated plumbing — and safety-related features including fencing, gates, and drain covers. Completed in the same visit as your home inspection.
For properties on an onsite septic system rather than municipal sewer. NovaScope inspects accessible components including the tank area and visible drainage field. Scope varies by system type and site access. Properties requiring a pump-out or dye test will need a licensed septic contractor for those services.
Starting prices apply to homes up to 1,500 sq ft. Final pricing may vary based on square footage, age, location, foundation type, and service complexity.
These are standalone inspection services — not buyer bundles and not add-ons. Select the one that applies and book using the form below.
For new-build homeowners approaching the end of their builder's 1-year warranty. NovaScope identifies items still the builder's responsibility — documented in a format you can submit before the coverage window closes.

On older Texas homes — especially those built in 1986 or earlier — two add-ons give buyers the most useful picture of what's happening below the surface. Both are included in the Older Home / Foundation Bundle and can also be added individually.
A camera inspection of the lateral sewer line shows its actual condition. In many older Texas homes, cast iron drain lines can corrode, crack, or shift — causing recurring drainage issues, under-slab moisture concerns, or expensive repairs after move-in. Sewer scope is also worth considering during the transitional period, when homes may have mixed drain materials, partial replacements, or unknown under-slab conditions that a standard inspection cannot detect.
Zip Level measurements provide a more objective snapshot of elevation differences across the home's floors. In Texas markets where slab movement, drainage concerns, and aging under-slab plumbing can all matter, Zip Level readings add measurable context beyond a visual inspection — especially on older homes or properties where buyers want more foundation-related information before closing.
Inspection reports can be long. NovaScope adds a clear recap for the home's biggest systems, so you and your agent can see what matters without digging through pages of findings.
Each recap reflects what was observable at the time of inspection. Where a specialist follow-up may be warranted, NovaScope notes it directly in the report.
Visible movement, cracking, and drainage-related concerns, with overall context on the slab and foundation based on what's observable during the inspection.
Heating and cooling performance, visible condition, airflow or maintenance concerns, and approximate age where it can be determined.
Panel observations, visible wiring or safety concerns, outlet issues, and any items that may need repair or further evaluation.
Visible leaks, fixture function, water heater observations, and supply or drain concerns — including older-material risks where relevant.
Roof-covering condition, visible wear, flashing and drainage concerns, and signs of water-intrusion risk where visible.
Recaps are based on visible, accessible conditions at the time of inspection and are intended to support — not replace — evaluation by a licensed specialist when one is recommended.
